Portriat of a Mockingbird (Mimus polyglottos)

Surprised it let me open the door and get this shot, only about 10 feet away. Should have shot this vertical and got the whole bird. Full frame shot resized for web.

Hmmm.... why don't I ever think about turning the camera around. Note to self "remember what Donny said" ;)

A lovely capture with beautiful color and detail Donny.

Nice work Donny ...I like the colour and luminosisty of the background and the contrast with the bird. A bird I would love to see.

o:) WOW, that was close... my birds should learn from yours, they are not willing to be so coorperative! ;) Too bad about turning the camera (something I simply never even think about doing, silly me, ;)) but a stunning close portrait anyway!!!  Cheers, Donny!!! B :)

Beautiful image Donny, great backdrop colours to set this Mocker off really well.

Beautiful shot of this handsome bird! I did that exact thing yesterday and misssed a Jay shot because I didn't turn the camera. I hate it when that happens. LOL
