Red-tailed Hawk (Buteo jamaicensis)

We have a great variation of colouration on our Red-tails in this region... I believe this might be a Harlan's given the almost black plumage.

Excellent capture!

You are correct about the Harlan’s I believe - (a Dark morph Western would have a pinkish tail).
