Rose-ringed Parakeet (Psittacula krameri)

Not wholly welcome, in that they take food intended for Goldfinches and other small birds. But they're photogenic, both species are doing well here, and in any case, according to the Natural History Museum (London): “Tawny owls, sparrowhawks and peregrine falcons will all feast on parakeets, especially if there are a lot of them in one area”.

I've still not seen one John!! There are some in Scotland though.
