Very nice bird but awfully grainy on my screen. What ISO did you use?

Hi Peter,
It is grainy - shot at ISO 1000 so the feathers wouldn't be a blur. shutter 1/500, f 7.1, JPEG fine. Photo is also cropped quite a bit.

Super shot. I much prefer grain to blur when a choice has to be made.
