Hi Peter,
It is grainy - shot at ISO 1000 so the feathers wouldn't be a blur. shutter 1/500, f 7.1, JPEG fine. Photo is also cropped quite a bit.

This is a very useful shot as it is the tail that is the most telling feature when distinguishing between the rufus and the Allan's; Well done. :t: :t:
