Hi Peter and Delia this is the very ordinary brown bird that sings that beautiful tune. Very commom through out the area.

Many thanks for telling us what the song was in that ID thread Pete. I wonder if you'd mind posting in that thread to tell her what it is? I'll upload the recording to Opus shortly.... and I'll be uploading this picture there too as I think it's an improvement on the one currently showing on the page.
