Saturday Fun (Vanellus indicus)

This Red-wattled Lapwing was dunking its bill in & out of the water puddle very fast while on the move. Tried to capture the bird & its reflection in full, instead ended up with an image of only the bird's head & reflection of almost its entire body; with an insect in its bill as a bonus. Don't think I could have composed it like this even if I tried. Shot early morning in low light with a high ISO.

LOL SK ... it's great when you get an unexpected bonus. As you say, it would have been hard to plan that.

A great entry for SF - many thanks my friend.
