Winter Wren (Troglodytes troglodytes)

As you can see had to use the flash on this one but thought it made for something different.

Different.... but nice.
EDIT Did try before posting to correct the 'steel eye' with little success but just tried a different approach with better results.

I love the detail in the snow, and the colors of the branch, all brought out by the flash. I'm a big fan of flash, when it's needed. Nice image, Adam.

Apart from the steel eye this is excellent, I love the textures and colours here...time to get a proper flash light me thinks...I could use one too after my last one hit the concrete doing wagtails three years ago.

WOW!!! o:) I'd say more than "nice", Tweety-Man, a wonder!!! As Adrian, the texture of the snow catched my eye, I can feel the crystals of ice!!! And the composition is gorgeous too!!! A very loud standing :clap: from this crushed-by-her-gear buddy g/f!!! ;) :t: :t: :t:

Those poor cold toeses, did you get the little one some socks?;)
Super shot Adam, great detail:t:eek::)

It's really lovely, Jaff, except that the eye looks a little odd. Shouldn't be hard to fix though. Got some great pictures of a Dunnock in Scotland using fill flash.
