Habitat: Coastal Prairie and Marshes Vegetational Area. Mixed pine/hardwood forest and small patches of open prairie with cultivated plants around the nature center at ca. 14 m (46 ft) elevation.

Location: Houston Arboretum, Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA.
