Duedalen Park, Fortress
Later on I took a stroll down to the city again. So went through Duedalen Park, but no birds to be seen in there this day.

The park is dominated by the Kristiansten Fortress (you can make out the path up to it... but I didn't try it - a bit steep LOL)

It was built at the turn of the 16/17th centuries to keep the pesky Swedes out. Apparently they did capture the fortress but not Trondheim.

You can read more about it here: https://visittrondheim.no/en/see-do/kristiansten-fortress.

Now a site for rock concerts, to the dismay or entertainment, depending on musical tastes, of the residents at the nearby nursing home ;)
