Very nice!
I have to ask: how do you like the Jobu?
I just got the 500VR and right now am only using it on my RRS BH55 ball head.
Do you find the Jobu makes using the 500 a lot easier?
I would think for a shot like this you could use a ball head almost as easily.
Maybe for your bufflehead shot the jobu would be easier.
What do you think?
By the way, with the jobu what VR setting do you use?

Regards, Strathglass.

PS: Just noticed it is the AF-S I you are using, so no VR on that as I recall, so ignore that last question!

Thanks for the replies.
strathglass, i love the Jobu BW-Pro gimbal.
I used to digiscope with ball-heads and am familiar with them but with the 500mm on a tripod, i couldn't think of a better system than gimbal honestly.
