Stock Dove
This was one of the first birds I saw after moving into the care home. Hopefully a good omen! I'd never photographed the species before. There were two, and they reappeared a couple of days later. This place is very near a Local Nature Reserve, which has some urban woodland. TTTW.

Thank you for your comments, stay safe and well, and good birding!

They can be found in a wide variety of habitats, including woodland, marshes, with reed beds, meadows, scrubland, farmland, cliffs and quarries (Opus).
