Turkey Vulture (Cathartes aura)

While I was at Aransas National Wildlife Refuge, in Texas, I went to an area that had a viewing platform. About a dozen Turkey Vultures had commandeered the rails around the platform. I got pretty close as I walked up the ramp before they took off. A face only a mother could love!
