'What are you looking at?'... (Cacatua tenuirostris)

This I thought might give you a laugh! When Pete and I were going down to the river (reminiscing over years gone by, we worked here for 30 yrs!) near Greensborough the tree at the entrance had several Little Corellas stripping all of the nuts, as I got out of the car these guys just looked at me but kept right on doing what they were doing! The looks that I got were classic and this is only one of my shots! lol The Little Corellas in my home town usually hang around with the Long_Billed Corellas but none in sight here! On this visit I found 7 species of parrot (lorikeet) and got lots of good shots! Do hope you all like i!

Open land, watercourses, grassland, crops, bushes and scrub of all descriptions, including mangroves, but always near water.

What an ugly bugger this one looks! Its a great close-up capture Nora, but it looks scary, good job.
 
A stunner of a close up Nora..wouldnt want to meet it in the dark..or may he wouldnt want to meet me in the dark..:D..Excellent close and keep them coming.Regards.:t:
