What's up, doc? (Emberiza cia)

And my 2nd post of the year had to be a bird!!! :-O

I'm horribly busy these days, no time to sort out pictures so just picked up this that I had processed some time ago and still had not shared. Too close and not much to do for a composition (|^|) but it was great to have a close encounter at ground level with this little looker giving me a quizzical stare!!! ;)

What a lovely image of this stripy headed beauty. Excellent detail and a wonderful pose. Very nice indeed Marian. I wondered why some of your comments had been posted at very strange times recently. The fact that you are very busy explains it.

Who cares about the setting when it is such a beautiful capture of a bird we don't see very much of in the Gallery.
