What's up, doc? (Emberiza cia)

And my 2nd post of the year had to be a bird!!! :-O

I'm horribly busy these days, no time to sort out pictures so just picked up this that I had processed some time ago and still had not shared. Too close and not much to do for a composition (|^|) but it was great to have a close encounter at ground level with this little looker giving me a quizzical stare!!! ;)

It really is very beautiful Marian, a lovely shot with some terrific detail in the feathers. The eye is so bright too - great work girl!
