White-booted Racket-tail
Tiny (if you exclude the males' tail!) cloud forest hummingbird with quite a large range from Venezuela south into Northern Peru.

We saw good numbers of this species at several sites in the Mindo area. This male had been feeding in the gardens of Sachatamia lodge where we were staying, just outside Mindo (Pichincha/Ecuador).
Habitat
Gardens around lodge (beyond gardens, west slope cloud forest) at c1700m.
