Willow Warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus)

Having seen neither Chiffchaff nor Willow Warbler this year, hopefully I'll be forgiven for posting another shot of this Willow Warbler from 2019.

With blackish legs and white lower eye ring, it looks at first like a Chiffchaff. But other photos I posted in the Gallery in 2019 show it to have a strikingly long primary projection (at least equal to the tertial length) which must make it a Willow Warbler. I'll put a link to one of those shots in the comments below.

Habitat
Open deciduous woodland, bushy areas, parks and gardens. Also in mixed forest and young conifer plantations, hedgerows and shelterbelts. On passage occurs in all types of habitat with trees and bushes (Opus)

superb capture of this lovely little warbler, John, clearly a willow warbler indeed, the details are superb and so is the setting, top class, many tfs!!
