Willy's Jeep 1949 screech's Hide/blind.

Found this Historic Willy's Jeep in a Parking Lot, driving up to take a pic I noticed my reflection.

My SUV; my portable hide/blind is a big part of my photo kit, since walking distance is long past... this serves me nicely for about 95% of my photos. A sunroof allows views into trees, poles, blue skies. Air conditioned during summer, heated in the winter, 4 wheel drive allows me into any area I can drive. Who has it better than me ... a sturdy window mount keeps me on even keel.

Works wonders, birds and animals pay no mind ... as long as you remain inside.
Well, you can't see much, but that's me at window.
The willy's is not mine, the SUV in tire mirrow is my Nisson Pathfinder.

Willys brings back the memories Bob.Brother and I both learned how to drive with dads old M2.Was definetly lacking shiny badge though.Great point about using vehicle as blind, some incredably close ops happen inside one.
Thanks for sharing, trip down memory lane.

Great bird hide, Ian does the same, we have to be choosy with the car colouring and only go for green, blue or silver to fit in with the background
