Looks like I'll have the honour of laying three wreaths at the Burma Star Memorial in Bromsgrove next Sunday (Remembrance Day): RAF Association, RAF Aircrew Association and this one from the Wardens and Regulars at Upton Warren Nature Reserve. If I had my camera (being fixed by insurance company) you'd be able to read the inscription that says:
"The Wardens and Regulars of the Christopher Cadbury (Upton Warren) Wetlands Reserve - in Remembrance." Whilst it'll be an honour to do the necessary for us all, it's not too late for someone to volunteer to lay this one.

Hi guys, I am so out of the loop I feel like a stranger, was wondering if the pintail are still there?

p.s. will see you all at the work party tomorrow

Did someone mention a Work Party?

West Midlands
Rain - Yellow Warning

Issued at: 1150 on Sat 3 Nov 2012

Valid from: 0300 on Sun 4 Nov 2012

Valid to: 1300 on Sun 4 Nov 2012

Heavy rain is expected to spread across parts of southern, central and eastern England through Sunday morning, clearing eastern parts by early afternoon. The rain will be accompanied by strong winds in parts of southeast England, possibly gusting in excess of 50mph.
The public should be aware that the rain, falling on already wet ground, may lead to some minor flooding from either surface water or rivers.

Actually the more you read the more you get the impression that this is an arse-covering exercise.

See you tomorrow...

Hi Gavo I didn't hear or see anything of the pair this morning but another male has pitched up feeding top end of the pool island.
