Hi all,
I honestly asked this question a bit differently on the main spotting scope thread - I haven't looked through many (any?) high end scopes other than my ED82, which I love. I want to give it to my friend, and intended simply to replace it. Of course, now I'm wondering if I should look around at other options. No harm in that, other than the usual swirl of time and attention. Any reactions/thoughts? It's a bit of an unfair question price wise, but considering that I have come to the conclusion that the 8x32SE is the world's best all round 8x32 (in dry weather), and they can be had for 1/4 the price of the high end (or less), maybe not.
