Fabulous close and prolonged views of a Hobby over Tapenhall this morning.
Pair of Tufted Ducks still. Cetti's singing.
Kingfisher at Porter's Mill
Female Cuckoo between Ladywood and Porter's Mill plus other Cuckoos seen around Coney Meadow and between Salwarpe and Ladywood.
 
3 Tufted Ducks (2 drakes) over near Salwarpe heading down the valley this morning
Yellowhammer singing just north west of Salwarpe
Nuthatch and Lesser Whitethroat in Coney Meadow plus Common Whitethroats, Reed and Sedge Warblers
Nice to see 5 Swallow fledglings being fed by their parents between Salwarpe and Ladywood

Pretty sure I've just seen a Club-tailed Dragonfly on a hedge near Knight's Grove- bright yellow and black with an obvious club-shaped tail. Tried to photograph it but couldn't get close enough. Wouldn't expect one around here!

Hobby showed nicely. Treecreeper calling.

Nice one Dave - not sure what a confusion species could be; perhaps female Black-tailed Skimmer but a very different shape.
