    The free Avast doesn't have a firewall , it wants you to buy their " not free " version of Avast instead . If you are still on Windows 10 it has a built in firewall ( basic , but ok ) I actually removed Avast from my Windows 10 machine as it was causing problems and am now running Windows...

    David , if you find it difficult try getting a mate or someone to have a look for you as a first resort , if Windows 10 is turning off your wireless card to save power it still wont always connect even if you sit right next to the wireless router . Ashley

    Stay with 7 , I am only recommending that my clients change if they are running Windows 8/8.1 ( which was/is truly awful ) . Not a huge difference between 7 and 10 so if it's working ok then leave it be . Ashley
