    Blue Tits, how long?

    We have a camera box and have had blue tits roosting in it right through the winter (only one bird) for several years. I would imagine that all the other boxes in the garden are similarly used. I don't see anything unusual in yours, just enjoy them.

    Extremadura, late May 2025

    It's some years since I was there, but check the bullring in Trujillo for Lesser Kestrel. They bred there then and probably still do. You're sure to have a good time in the area.

    One of the many falcons which nest on the cliffs of San Pietro, (or Carloforte) island Sardinia. The nest site is protected as a reserve by LIPU - BirdLife in Italy.
