CL Companion 10x30 after Minox HG 10x43
The CL companions have a nice sharp field of view, but make sure to try them in a store to see if they fit you well -- the eyecups may feel shockingly narrow without glasses, especially if you were used to a Minox. I personally found the CLs unusable for that one reason and returned them... -

It seems you assume I am some type of novice user who can't figure out how to adjust binoculars properly. While I'm a new poster here, I used binoculars extensively since I was 14. My guess is they either 1) always use it with glasses on or 2) have a different tolerance level for image shake...
