    This male osprey was perched in his usual tree adjacent to the nest tree when this interloper arrived. The face-off lasted several minutes and then....... the osprey was on his own again.

    Incoming with a supply of material for a bit of 'make and mend' at the nest.

    This bird was eating a pike in a treetop near the nest. Having eaten half of it he flew to the nest with the remainder. The female declined it so he very sensibly returned to his tree and ate the rest.
