    7D draining battery.

    I followed the youtube video and fixed the problem on my 7D where the screw come out. A bit tricky getting the plastic bottom off the camera but if you are used to doing these sort of delicate electronic repairs it's not a big deal and only took 15 minutes to complete the job. The error was...

    I'm yet to be impressed with the mk2 if you compare your moon shot with my snap taken with an ancient 300mm f4 for detail. I very much hope the mk2 can perform much better as I have my eye on it for a walk about lens. I never liked the pump action of the mk1 but I like the action of the mk2's...

    The switch on the SD card is not a switch but a bit of plastic that operates the switch in the SD card holder. So looks like a camera repair :(

    If the shots come out OK It maybe worth getting an eye test if you are 50+, this distorted vision could be a sign of AMD. The distortion is often intermittent. http://www.rnib.org.uk/eyehealth/eyeconditions/conditionsac/Pages/amd.aspx I can speak from personal experience.
