    I had a look early afternoon and despite there being plenty of Hobby food about the only raptors to be seen were the usual two common Buzzards.

    John two of the points we talked about yesterday when we were watching the bird with Dave and Mark were its apparently longer legs and the greyish underwing which lead us to believe that we were looking at an AGP !!!!

    The reported American Golden Plover still present, amongst c.800 Golden Plovers on the river mud in front of the Pickering's Pasture car park at 14.00 this afternoon. Went along with John Barber and arrived just in time to beat the rain :t:

    Hides do get burnt down at Moore. What is now basically a wrap-around screen at the Eastern Reedbed not that long ago was a very comfortable hide complete with roof - cracking place to sit for hours waiting for the Bitterns to put in an appearance - until the local village idiots reduced it to...
