    Thank you. What I saw looked exactly like the Collared Kingfisher. So, I suppose that is what it was. I could have sworn it did not have a massive beak however. But I probably just misremembered it or something.

    I saw a beautiful bird with blue wings yesterday, and it had a light grey chest, and a yellow beak.     I have these outside of my condo in Bangkok. They come by in the evenings. They move like swallows, although I am a very novice birder. I did the best I could with the photo but they are fast little guys. Thanks for any input on the ID!
