Willow Tit (Poecile montanus)? Czech Republic

Hi everyone! I've captured another voice today that I would like to consult with you. Would you say that this is a willow tit? Habitat was a mixed forest and I had a visual contact with the bird - it looked like a willow/marsh tit and I've heard the call later, although I cannot say for 100%...

Eurasian treecreeper (Certhia familiaris)? Czech Republic

Hi everyone! This is another "not completely sure" recording I made two days ago in the woods. Would you say that this is a call of an eurasian treecreeper - certhia familiaris? The habitat was mixed forest, mainly deciduous, but the call was actually coming from a patch of mainly coniferous...

Crested tit or something else? Czech Republic

Very interesting! I haven't thought about that, but it is true that the tone sounds similar! Although I was unable to find similar melody on Xeno Canto as well, going through the blue tit recordings. It will be interesting to hear other's thoughts!

Crested tit or something else? Czech Republic

Hi everyone! I was going through my recordings and I've listened to this recording of what I thought was crested tit. However, browsing through Xeno-Canto recordings, I found none resembling the call/song I recorded. So was I wrong after all? What do you think? http://www.xeno-canto.org/323603...

    Celestron Regal M2 + Baader Hyperion: 17 or 13mm?

Thank you very much for your answer! So all in all, would you recommend rather the 17mm over 13mm for most situations? Would I gain something by choosing 13mm? I know that in binoculars, going for 12x42 will not really give you much, on the contrary, it can make the picture really unstable, so...

    Celestron Regal M2 + Baader Hyperion: 17 or 13mm?

Hi everyone! I've been reading a lot of positive reviews on upgrading Celestron Regal M2 ED series to Baader Hyperion fixed eyepieces and I decided to give it a go. The zoom eyepiece that goes with Celestron is quite good, but I've been always reading advantages of fixed eyepieces and Baader...
