  • Tail is slightly notched

Placed in genus Serinus by Clements.

Habitat

Moist evergreen primary and secondary forests, forest edges and clearings, marshes and swamps.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists primarily of grass and plant seeds. They forage on the ground on at the top of tall grasses.
