Subspecies

Clements recognizes these subspecies[1]:

• G. a. auricularis
  • Pacific slope of western Ecuador to western Peru (south to Ica)
• G. a. peruviana
  • N Peru (upper Marañon Valley of Cajamarca and La Libertad)
