Distribution
Eastern Africa: found in Eritrea, northern Ethiopia, Djibouti and north-western Somalia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Lower montane and montane juniper woodlands and scrub.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists mostly of small seeds from small plants, herbs and trees.
