Identification

11–12 cm (4¼-4¾ in)

  • Brownish overall plumage
  • Buff belly
  • Elongated second pair of rectrices

Distribution

South America: found in the lowlands of eastern Bolivia and adjacent Brazil (western Mato Grosso).

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Deciduous and dry semi-deciduous forests.
