Sexually dimorphic.

Distribution

South America: found in arid southern Ecuador; upper Mara¤on Valley of northern Peru south to Ica.

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Disturbed desert observed at ca.400 m (1,312 ft) elevation.
