Distribution
South America: found from southern Amazonian Brazil to extreme south-eastern Peru and adjacent north-eastern Bolivia.
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Amazonian rainforest, seasonally flooded forests, riparian woodland. Occurs at heights up to 500 m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of insects, spiders and small fruits.
