- Black crown
- Golden or yellow cheeks
- Rufous belly
Sexes similar.
Distribution
North-western South America: found from the Andes of south-western Colombia to north-western Bolivia
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Cloud forest and forest borders; observed at heights around 1,600 m.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of fruits, arthropods and worms.
