Distribution

North-western South America: found in the temperate eastern Andes of Colombia (Santander and Cundinamarca)

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

Temperate montane forests at a height of approximately 1600–2050 m.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists mostly of fruits and seeds.
