- A. r. hellmayri:
- Tropical eastern Brazil (central Bahia)
- A. r. rufus:
- Tropical south-eastern Brazil (Minas Gerais to Rio Grande do Sul)
Habitat
Slope of Atlantic rainforest, forest edges and scrub.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists of ants, butterflies, fruits and tree frogs.
They follow army ant swarms.
