There are 2 subspecies[1]:
- G. s. sallaei:
- Coastal south-eastern Mexico (Veracruz, Tabasco, eastern Oaxaca and northern Chiapas)
- G. s. boucardi:
Habitat
Undergrowth of tropical dry forest; Woodland fringes.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet consists almost entirely of insects.
