- Grey crown, nape, ear-coverts and lateral margin of throat
- White-flecked grey lores
Distribution
Asia: found in China, Tibet, Nepal
South Asia: India, Easternv and Western Himalayas, Bangladesh, Bhutan
Southeast Asia: Indochina, Myanmar, Laos, Vietnam and Thailand
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Dense grassy undergrowth of montane broad-leaf forests.
Behaviour
Diet
Little has been recorded but they are known to forage in the under-storey for insects.
