Identification

- Grey overall plumage
- Brownish-grey crown
- Dark grey streak on underparts
- Long wings
Distribution
Asia: found from south-eastern Siberia to north-eastern China; winters to New Guinea and Philippines
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Conspicuously perches in tops of trees in larch forests (where it breeds), forest edges and open areas.
Behaviour
Diet
Their diet is not wel recorded, but through to include small invertebrates and berries.
