Breeds in southern China.
Taxonomy
Subspecies
Two subspecies recognized:
- P. g. goodsoni winters on Hainan (southern China), breeding range unknown
- P. g. fokiensis breeds in southern China (western Hubei, Guizhou, Guangxi, northwestern Fujian and Anhui)
It was formerly included in Blyth's Leaf Warbler.
