- More rufous on rump
- Brown underparts
- Whitish throat with dark streaks
- Whitish belly and vent
Distribution
South America: found in south-eastern Colombia to northern Bolivia, southern Venezuela and western Amazonian Brazil
Taxonomy
This is a monotypic species[1].
Habitat
Sub-canopy and lower levels of humid lowland forests and woodland.
Behaviour
Diet
They forage on the ground in clearings and forest edges for invertebrates and fruit.
Breeding
There is very little information. The only nest that has been recorded was in the crown of a spiny palm and contained 2 eggs.
