- Apalis karamojae
Identification
Grey upperparts, white underparts and a black bill. The wings and tail are dark grey, and the tail has white outermost feathers. Males are darker in colour than females. Juveniles are similar in appearance to adults but have a mainly pink bill and yellow gape, and browner wings.

Acacia-dominated scrub.
Status
Classified as Vulnerable in the 2007 IUCN Red List (BirdLife International, 2007).
Behaviour
Little known; seen in small groups, foraging near the ground in thickets.
Vocalisation
Rapid tissik tissik tissik when foraging.
