Identification
Yellow green underparts with darker green wings and a grey green head.
Distribution
Madagascar and Comoros Islands.
Taxonomy
Two subspecies accepted:
- T. a. xenius in western Madagascar
- T. a. australis on Madagascar (east of the high plateau)
Comoro Green Pigeon was recently split from Madagascar Green Pigeon
Habitat
Various woodland habitats.
