Distribution
Found in the Lesser Sundas, Indonesia.
Taxonomy
Three subspecies accepted:
- T. c. fortis: Sumba (Lesser Sundas)
- T. c. capistratus: Timor (Lesser Sundas)
- T. c. flavotectus: Eastern Lesser Sundas (Wetar and Romang)
Some authorities (Clements 2010) treat this species as subspecies of Rainbow Lorikeet.
