Identification
The Mouse-brown Sunbird is a small, drab grey-brown bird with a short decurved beak and a prominent off-white supercilium which is mirrored by a similar infra-orbital malar crescent. The sexes are identical and immature birds ghost the adult plumage.
Distribution
West and central Africa: Sengal to Angola.

Monotypic.
Habitat
Mangrove forests.
Behaviour
Mouse-brown Sunbird is a localised, skulking species. They are hyperactive birds which glean insects from the leaves & branches of Mangrove trees. They build purse-like woven nests accessed from a side entrance, which hang suspended from a branch over water.
