Subspecies

There are 2 subspecies^[1]

• T. e. erythropus:

• Senegambia to Nigeria

• T. e. zenkeri: larger and darker

• Cameroon to western Uganda, central Democratic Republic of the Congo, Gabon, and northern Angola

Habitat

Dense forest.
