Distribution

Endemic to Northern Moluccas (Obi and Bisa).

Taxonomy

Biak Myzomela, Red-tinged Myzomela and Moluccan Myzomela were formerly included in Dusky Myzomela.

Subspecies

This is a monotypic species[1].
