Identification

  • Bright chestnut-brown crown
  • Olive-green back and shoulders
  • Green lower back and rump
  • Blackish flight feathers

Distribution

South America: found in Bolivia, Brazil, Paraguay and Argentina

Taxonomy

This is a monotypic species[1].

Habitat

The like the canopy of humid forests. woodland and tall secondary growth.

Behaviour

Diet

Their diet consists mostly of insects, with the addition of some fruits.
